Alicia Lowe Ceramic Potter and Clay Artist
 My journey with clay started more than 30 years ago in Arizona  where I worked and studied in a college pottery classroom.  Upon returning to my native Florida I have maintained a studio and  displayed my work in local and regional art shows and galleries.  I have a strong desire to make pottery that I cannot fully explain.  I feel fulfilled and content during the creative process. Clay working  can be challenging (cracking, glaze failures and firing fractures), rewarding  (the thrill of getting it the way I imagined) and joyful (it’s a holiday with  gifts every time I open a glaze fired kiln). 
 My hope is that my handcrafted pottery brings as much happiness  to a buyer as it provided to me, the maker.
