Why I love what I do?

Rewarding results!
My love for glass started when I would visit my uncle, who produced large commercial art, such as stained glass entryway domes, but 
I didn`t want to make large sculptures.
Instead, I enjoy cutting up pieces of glass then I put them together in a special way, fire the kiln, and wait to be surprised the next day!

Abstract work is a wonderful way to mix the colors and lines with stunning results!

Trout at Night Tray

The work of other artists inspires me without moving me to copy other people's creations.
In the glass universe Chihuli is the ultimate, but I don't incorporate any of his style or techniques. 
Sometimes it is the way a flower was done, or how the sky was painted that makes me think "how can I incorporate this, how can I express what someone else saw and portray it with my own glass signature?"

Snow Storm Tray

In this piece the glass itself has an iridescence that makes the piece so beautiful, I just decided to use it pure without any add-ons.

Wasabi Dishes

These are silk-screened decorative mini-trays. 
A small tray can be an easy piece to take back home, displays well over a coffee table, or you can use it for holding rings.
Not all glass trays are "Food Safe" because the colors come from metals.
- Look for a top, clear glass layer if you intend to use your piece to hold food.

Dog Paw Pendants 

I have a not-so-hidden passion:
- I compete with dogs!
Yes, my hobby of flyball races is ongoing since 2002.
It all started when I wanted to get a dock in a certain lake at a dog park. Next, we had to train the dogs to jump off the dock, so we gave them swimming and jumping lessons. The US leads the sport, and competitions are held yearly in Indianapolis, IN
