I knew I had a talent for art since I was in grade school
but during my first 40 years I lived in
Around 1993 I enjoyed taking a class at the Maine School of
Art just before moving to Summerfield, FL.
Unlike accounting, art came to me
naturally.
I continued learning from local classes and workshops, reading, and watching other artists.

It is been fun to participate in many festivals along the
East Coast, receiving awards from quite a few shows!
Although I have tried many mediums, it seems I keep returning
to Acrylics.

I stretch my own canvas so I can use the materials I like,
and I can pick sizes that best fit what I want to express.
Using my own
techniques of painting, I pick colors and styles to make my paintings POP.

The trips are a delightful experience because I love nature
and flowers are my favorite subject.
