Learn how to mix and move resin with a heat gun to create some beautiful effects on a round piece of wood with a diameter of about 14 inches. Students will embellish their creation with such items as shells, stones, and starfish. Resin is sticky and students will need to wear gloves and old clothes or an apron. A mask is recommended as a precaution, although there are few, if any fumes. Students will leave their work at the gallery until the next day, when it will be hard enough to safely move.
Tues., Feb. 28; 1-4 p.m.
Cost: $60. Materials fee to instructor $15.
