Flow Art on 16” Round Wood Piece
Flow art uses acrylic paint and other materials to flow the paint together and create beautiful and
interesting patterns. Students will create a round art piece on wood. Wear old clothes. We use
rubber gloves, but if you have an allergy, we can work something out. Pieces must dry a couple
days. No experience necessary. All ages welcome. All supplies furnished.
Instructor: Linda Reitz. Friday, Oct. 1; 1-3 p.m. Cost: $50.
Decorative Painting Workshop
Learn to create such decorative finishes as marbling, wood graining, stenciling, and gilding. Transform furniture, art frames, objects, and interior surfaces with these classic techniques.
Also good for handmade items for the holidays.

Cost: $50, plus $10 to instructor for materials.
Nothing says Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving like pumpkins. Come and weave bulky yarn over a wire frame to create a 13x18 pumpkin to decorate your door or wall. Supplies will be available to add further decorations or to create a Jack–O-Lantern. No weaving experience necessary and tools provided.
You may bring drinks or snacks if you wish.

Painting With Texture
A class in acrylics in which students will learn to use such materials as corrugated cardboard, paper, string, and more to get texture that will add visual interest to a painting.

Cost: $35 and $15 to instructor for materials.
You Gotta Break It to Make It – Mosaics 101 -- Sold Out
Have you ever thought how fun it would be to break something and then piece it back together the way you want? Mosaics is a great way to express yourself with tile, glass, and even broken jewelry. In this class, we will break a variety of things and learn how to decorate a picture frame and then grout it. You will learn how each tool can create a different shape, style, and even texture. Safety is important. Please bring safety goggles and your imagination.

Liquid Flow Art on a 3D Object
Acrylic Flow Art is not just for a flat canvas. Students will pour paint over a trinket box and picture frame for neat gifts or décor. All materials are included.
Come join in and see why this art form is so much fun.

Students will fill in a 16” by 20” painting of a tree and a moon that the instructor supplies.
The fee includes aprons, brushes, paint, easels, and canvas.

Sparkle and Shine Handmade Jewelry Class
Learn to create handcrafted jewelry.
Students will master techniques for design, sourcing materials, and making jewelry using gemstone, pearl, metal, and glass beads. Students will learn to make necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets, keychains, charms, pendants, fan pulls, holiday ornaments, and more.

Stained Glass Scrap Cat
This is a class for any student who has taken a stained glass class at Rainbow Springs Art before. This is not a beginner’s stained glass class but is a good refresher class. This is the Tiffany style of stained glass.
