Christmas Crunchies Cookie Party
How do artists decorate their Christmas cookies? Learn from Julie Mancini, popular local photographer and also a cookie artist, who does custom cookies for any event.. She will share her favorite recipe and decorating techniques. Learn beautiful effects, like watercolor, acrylic pour, snow globe, texture, and frostings in a range of flavors. You will take home a dozen cookies if you don't eat these delicious gems. Let your edible masterpieces be the talk of your friends’ and family’s Christmas tables.

Acrylic Pour -- Butterfly Wall Art
Acrylic pour artist Bridget Hanley and op art artist Ro Martinez join forces for a fun class, full of instruction and helpful advice. This is a two-day class. Day 1: Learn a pouring technique on a small canvas and then create a colorful butterfly, using a fluid acrylic pour technique on a wooden board butterfly template. On Day 2: You will embellish your canvas and wall art butterfly to create the perfect decor or gift. No experience is welcomed. Bring a friend and let's do this!
Friday, Dec. 9 and 16, 4-6 p.m.
Cost: $55. Materials Fee: $15, due at time of class.

Learn the basics -- or sharpen up your technique -- of watercolor. Each week, the class will cover different topics: choosing paint, knowing what paper and brushes to use, mixing color, learning watercolor techniques, practicing composition, and finishing a painting. Beginners are encouraged.
Dec. 14, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Cost: $40 per class; Materials Fee: $10 (no fee if bringing your own supplies). Material list will be emailed.

Ornaments -- Mini Baskets
For the holidays, we will make mini baskets you can hang on your tree, or use as gifts or as gift baskets forsmall items, such as candy, gift cards, or decorations. Weave as many as you have time for -- maybe thee.Wear play clothes. Water is used to soak the reed. Class is suitable for all levels of weavers. You may bring drinks and snacks.
