Rainbow Springs Art in Dunnellon
Rainbow Springs Art in Dunnellon is a cooperative and nonprofit organization with a gallery representing more than 30 outstanding and talented local artists and artisans who work in a wide variety of media. Several members offer classes year-round in their fields of talent.
Rainbow Springs Art usually hosts an annual art festival in November. Because of the coronavirus, the new tentative date for the festival is March 20, 2021. The festival is open to all fine artists and crafts people. It's free to the public.
Dedicated to supporting the community and art, Rainbow Springs Art awards scholarships to local high school students each year.
Throughout the year, the cooperative holds special events, open to everyone.
Would you like to learn a new art? Each month, our artists offer classes to the public. Some examples are painting with watercolors or acrylics, drawing in pen and ink, learning calligraphy or how to make fused glass, making jewelry and wrapping wire, hand-painting silk scarves, weaving baskets, and learning fabric arts or how to make stained glass.
The classes are offered at different times during the month, and our artists are delighted to share their knowledge. Visit the gallery to sign up or do it online.
