Happy Easter Basket
Tuesday, March 9, 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Instructor, Meredith McCartan; Cost: $30, plus $10 to instructor for materials. Easter is just around the corner, so won't you join us to create a pastel basket for collecting your Easter eggs and candy? (Yum! Jelly beans!) We will weave a solid, round bottom and pastel, dyed reed of various colors for the sides. In addition, we will wrap our handles in a pattern of matching colors. The basket is suitable for all level of weavers, including beginners. All tools and materials will be provided. Just bring yourself and enjoy a fun day. Come early and browse our gallery of over 30 local artists. Wear your play clothes because the reed is soaked in water for flexibility. You also may wish to bring a towel and/or apron. You are welcome to bring drinks and food if you wish. See you on the 9th!
