Membership Application, Rainbow Springs Art in Dunnellon

Please read the following contract and check where applicable.
I, as undersigned, have read the terms and conditions of this contract and enter into it willingly. I agree to uphold the membership terms and guidelines.

    Membership Requirements

Rainbow Springs Art in Dunnellon (herein referred to as RSA) is a cooperative gallery, whereas all members contribute to the organization and maintaining of the business. Members display their artwork to the public and are also offered opportunities to become involved in gallery and community events, offer art classes in their chosen subject to the public, and promote the gallery through their own social media and website channels. RSA provides a physical location in a desirable area, social media page with an established following, a website, and a monthly newsletter to promote the arts and art education.
All work must be handcrafted and original by the creator. Such work may include, but is not limited to, pottery, jewelry, paintings, carvings, fabric art, baskets, woodcraft, metal craft, photography, ceramics, sculpture, etc. Unacceptable works would be those from preformed kits, puzzles, or copied
forms of works. Works from patterns, such as baskets, or certain works from molds, such as soaps, may be acceptable. Artists may display quality prints of their original works.
Applicants are invited to attend a general meeting to meet fellow artists. Options:
In-Person at Membership Meeting: Applicants have submitted their application and fee, along with three examples of their work. Applicants will have 10 minutes to talk about their experience, art, and interest in the gallery. Membership is accepted through a general vote. Applicants will be notified by
    email.
Video Interview: Applicants may also schedule a video interview through Zoom. Photos of their works will be submitted by email prior to interview and upon receiving application fee and form.
Email submission: After application has been submitted, Artists may submit clear images of their work with descriptions (size, price range) and correspond through email. Information is forwarded to the membership for a vote.
Membership is offered in three categories. Cooperative/Gallery (Working) Artist, Consignment (Non-Working Artist), and Associate Member.
RSA retains a commission on all sold works and a flat rate commission on classes taught. A minimum fee is due if there are no sales in the fiscal month.
Class Instructors outside of membership are welcomed and are by Private Treaty.
