About Us

Our Story

The Rainbow Springs Artist Cooperative was the vision of Walter Mclellan and Chuck Dillion who have fearlessly pursued it and help set the stage for it by supporting the annual Rainbow Springs Art Festival.  June Johnson, a former gallery owner will Chair the Co-op committee. June and her husband Tom have been instrumental in creating the vision for the gallery. Processes used successfully by other art co-ops will be leveraged to develop strategies for member requirements; hours of operation, staffing, etc. “We are delighted to have the confidence of Dunnellon City Council to move forward with this initiative, and welcome input from anyone with prior experience in an art co-op” said Susan Jones, 2016 Rainbow Springs Fine Art Association President.

Our Artists

We could not do what we do without our members. Pictured above are a few of our founding members.

The Dunnellon Community has an abundance of artists including musicians, painters, jewelers, potters and more.

Chatting at the Co-op or teaching their classes, our artists are well versed!

Ribbon Cutting

June & Tom Johnson & Susan Jones have put so much hard work into the Rainbow Springs Artist Cooperative it was a great sight to see them cut the ribbon at the grand opening ceremony!

Thank you to all of the friends who made this dream a reality.

Great Conversations

Gary Kuhl loves to chat about his paintings

Art is a great way to start any conversation!
